Where it all began.
A family brand from its conception, RAOOF MD began formulating products in 1987. Back then, our co-founder, Dr. Raoof, needed medical-grade skincare options that wouldn't break the bank and that actually worked.
Dissatisfied with the limited options available to his patients in the 80s and 90s, Dr. Raoof was eager to offer skincare that truly works. Being familiar with the ingredients and what the latest trends offered, Dr. Raoof felt the options weren't effective enough and began experimenting himself.
Fast forward to 2003, Dr. Raoof’s son took notice of his father’s frustration with the skincare market’s limitations and set up to create medical-grade products formulated by the person who knows your skin the best - the dermatologist. They took matters into their own hands and together, developed a line based on Dr. Raoof's experience of his patients’ true needs. Eventually an entire FDA-registered skincare manufacturing company evolved that focuses on effective, synergistic, customizable formulations. RAOOF MD continues to formulate and source the materials for our products locally in Los Angeles.
While the packaging of RAOOF MD has changed over the years (trust us, it’s been for the better!), efficacy has remained at our core. Joined in practice by Dr. Raoof's daughter, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Rebecca Raoof, FNP-BC, RAOOF MD continues it's dedication to selling only the highest quality of effective skincare products, free of sulfates, parabens, hormones, and other commonly used irritants found in skincare.
